PaymentPayment is due at time of session. Cash and checks are accepted. Credit cards can be used online through Paypal as well. Click here to learn more. Cancellation PolicyPlease provide 24 hour notice in the event of a cancellation. You may be held accountable for full payment for cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment. I understand that there are times when this is not possible and payment will be waived at my discretion. Please notify me as far in advance as possible. If I cancel an appointment without 24 hour notice for reasons other than illness or family emergencies, I will waive payment for your next appointment. Late ArrivalIf you are late for a scheduled appointment, the session will last for the remainder of the time available ending as originally scheduled and will be full price. If I am late, the session will be adjusted for its original length or another form of compensation will be arranged. Multi-Treatment CertificatesMulti-Treatment Certificates are available to prepay for five sessions at a discounted rate. The certificate can be used by more than one person. Certificates can be refunded for the remaining available balance for up to six months following the last scheduled session. Special arrangements can be made to extend this period. Professional StandardsAs a nationally certified bodywork therapist and a member of the AOBTA (American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia), I pledge to honor the ethical and professional requirements set forth in the AOBTA Code of Ethics. I pay close attention to cleanliness and professional appearance of myself and clothing, of linens and equipment, and of the office environment in general. I respect the client's physical/emotional state and will not abuse clients through actions, words or silence, nor take advantage of the therapeutic relationship. I do not, in any way, participate in sexual activity with a client. I will consider the client's comfort zones for touch and for degree of pressure, and honor those requests as much as possible within personal, professional and ethical limits. I acknowledge the inherent worth and individuality of each person and therefore will not unjustly discriminate against clients or colleagues. |
