When we are out of balance in our bodies and in our lives, we can experience discomfort and ill health. Stress, tension, overwork, being rundown, and worry are common ways for us to experience being and moving out of balance. Shiatsu works to resolve these imbalances to return you to your own flow and rhythms of health. From a western perspective, the pressure from Shiatsu stimulates the circulatory, lymphatic, and immune systems. It also treats the hormonal, neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, respiratory, digestive, and autonomic nervous systems. This allows for the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health.
